Today a swatchpost / review of Makeup Geek's Limited Edition MannyMUA palette .
This cute palette from Makeup Geek is a collaboration with MannyMUA , beauty vlogger on Youtube . If you haven't seen his video's , go do so , they are hilarious and i like to watch them . He's such a fun person and does awesome makeup looks !
It's a 9 pan , warm toned palette (my kinda thing :) ) , 3 of the colors are Manny's favorites from MUG's permanent shades and 6 are brand new and exclusive to this palette . You will find mattes , shimmers , and foiled shades . So it's a nice mix of different finishes .
This palette is so popular that it sold out immediately after it was launched. I was lucky to buy one through Makeup Geek's webshop
It retails for $45 , which is an awesome deal if you ask me , knowing that a regular pan costs $6 and a foiled eyeshadow $10. So you get a value of $62 in a $45 palette (there are 2 foiled e/s in the palette) ,i think that's a pretty good deal
It was available in limited quantities at Beautybay.com , but also sold out immediately and i'm not sure if they are getting more of this palette . It will be available again at Makeup Geeks webshop , don't know when , but you can sign up and get a notification when it's in stock again.
The palette itself is a cardboard magnetic packaging , the one like the Vegas Lights palette was. So you are able to depot them very easily and put them in a z-palette , however why would you ... !? Just look at that packaging ... it's so freakin' cute !! But if you prefer to put them in a Z palette with all your other Makeup Geek shadows , you can :)
Here you can find Manny's first look and swatches on the palette .
Here you find the video with Manny and Marlena together
So let's take a closer look at the packaging and colors:
The front of the box has Manny's logo on it . It's matte black and the logo is holographic . At the back you can find a little word of Manny himself and a picture of him . It's a reflection of how Manny is , Manny the night owl :)
The palette is very travel friendly , very sturdy and magnetic , so you are able to pull the eyeshadows out the palette . Inside you find 9 warm toned eyeshadows and a good size mirror . You get 2 foiled eyeshadows which are Insomnia and Luna , 5 mattes and 2 shimmers. 3 shadows are from the permanent line , Manny's favorites : Beaches&Cream , Frappe and Cosmopolitan. All others are custom shades: "Insomnia" is a color that already excists as a pigment , but for the palette they made a foiled version of it , Artemis , Luna , Sora , Mars and Aphrodite are the other custom shades.
The eyeshadows are incredible ! Awesome pigmentation , very very long lasting , blend like a dream ... there is honestly no bad thing i can say about Makeup Geek shadows ... sorry just not a tiny thing :)

Artemis—Artemis is a muted champagne yellow with a shimmery finish. (custom)
